HOW TO INSTALL THE RISE AMBI SAFETY SELECTOR
Before making any upgrades to your AR, make sure that you follow standard gun safety guidelines. Make sure your firearm is unloaded and facing in a safe direction.

- Remove your upper receiver.
- Take the bottom plate off your grip if you have one.
- Use an appropriately sized wrench and unscrew the bolt inside your grip.
- Remove your grip. *NOTE: Keep track of the bolt, detent, and spring for the grip’s reinstallation.
- Remove the pins and trigger system from your lower.
- Remove the old safety from your lower.
- Install the RISE Ambidextrous Safety Selector and ensure the slot on the barrel of the safety selector is in line with the hole on your lower where safety detent is.
- Use the pointed tip of the paddle to push in the detent and then slide the paddle on. Make sure the dovetails on the paddle are properly seated on the safety barrel.
- Re-install the grip.
- Re-install your upper receiver.
- Perform a function test to ensure the safety is operating properly.
- To perform a function test:
- Move the RISE Ambidextrous Safety Selector into the safe position and squeeze the trigger. The trigger should not move.
- Move the RISE Ambidextrous Safety Selector into the fire position and squeeze the trigger. The trigger blade should move and the hammer should fall forward.
- Rack the bolt to reset the trigger and test the trigger again.
- Move the safety back into the safe position and make sure the trigger does not move.
