Four RISE Armament Patriot Rifles Raise More Than $50,000
Broken Arrow, Oklahoma — November 1, 2018 — RISE Armament, a premier manufacturer and supplier of AR firearms and components, created 13 special-edition Patriot Rifles to raise funds for Folds of Honor. Four of these rifles were recently auctioned off, raising more than $50,000 for the Folds of Honor organization.
On October 22, Folds of Honor held the auction at a fundraiser hosted by Edmond, Oklahoma-based Tall Oak Midstream. The event was located at the Patriot Club in Owasso, Oklahoma, and included dinner, the auction, and a concert by country singer Jerrod Niemann.
Each Patriot Rifle garnered $13,000, totaling $52,000 for the foundation. The proceeds from the rifles are enough for Folds of Honor to fund 10 educational scholarships to children or spouses of fallen or disabled veterans.
“We’re thrilled the Patriot Rifles raised so much for veterans’ families,” says Matt Torres, President of RISE Armament. “We’re on a mission to make a lasting difference, and Folds of Honor is an incredible organization to team up with.”
RISE Armament created the Patriot Rifle early in 2018 to benefit Folds of Honor. The 501(C)(3) nonprofit organization that was founded in 2007 to provide educational scholarships for children and spouses of fallen or disabled service members.
Nearly 2 million military heroes’ dependents are negatively impacted by war. The cost to provide educational scholarships to those dependents is a staggering $9 billion, and 85% of the families don’t qualify for federal aid. RISE Armament is pleased to assist Folds of Honor in their mission to support veterans’ families.
About RISE Armament:
We’re machinists, engineers, executives, hog hunters, target shooters, and coyote killers. Some of us are veterans; all of us are patriots. We’re God-fearing, country-loving, down-to-earth folks who take pride in providing TIER 1 products to our fellow countrymen. We work hard. We play hard. Our values run deep. Our roots are in manufacturing — machining and fabricating for the oil and aerospace industries. In the past, we would shoot and build a few guns when we got the chance. Now, we still shoot, and we manufacture lots of guns. We also machine gun parts and accessories. Our objective is simple — to unleash every shooter’s potential and elevate the shooting experience.
