HOW TO INSTALL THE RA-100 TRIGGER

RISE RA-100 Trigger

As always, ensure you are following proper firearm safety guidelines when making upgrades to your AR. Ensure there is no magazine inserted and clear the rifle to make sure it’s empty.

  1. Punch out your takedown and pivot pins and remove your upper receiver from your lower receiver.
  2. Remove your grip. (Be sure to keep track of your safety detent and grip spring.)
  3. Remove your safety selector.
  4. Using a punch, carefully tap out the hammer pin and remove it.
  5. Then, tap out the trigger pin and remove it.
  6. Remove your old trigger. (You won’t be needing it anymore.)
  7. Place the RA-100 trigger and spring into your lower receiver.
  8. Push down on the trigger to line up the trigger blade hole with the pin hole on your lower receiver.
  9. Insert one of the included pins until it’s flush with your lower receiver.
  10. Angle the hammer as if it were in the forward position and place the hammer spring legs in the slots on the trigger pin.
  11. Push down on the hammer until the hammer pin hole lines up with pin hole on your lower receiver.
  12. Use a mallet to tap in the other included pin until it is flush with your lower receiver.
  13. Cock the hammer back into its ready-to-fire position.
  14. Reinstall your safety selector.
  15. Reinstall your grip.
  16. Place your upper receiver onto your lower receiver and push in your takedown and pivot pins.

Perform a Function Test
17. Pull the charging handle to make sure the trigger is reset.
18. Flip your safety selector in the safe position and squeeze the trigger to ensure it won’t fire.
19. Flip your safety selector into the fire position and squeeze the trigger to test the trigger’s functionality.
20. Repeat this process three to four times, to ensure all parts are installed and operating correctly.
