RISE Armament proudly welcomes professional shooters Tennille Chidester and Jake Shattuck to its 3-Gun Nation shooting team.

“We’re pleased to have Jake and Tennille represent RISE in 3-Gun competitions. They are not only talented shooters, but upstanding people who are devoted to promoting the industry,” said Chris Barger, president of RISE Armament.

One of the fastest-growing shooting sports in America, 3-Gun is a multi-gun competition involving a modern sporting rifle, pistol, and shotgun. Standardized matches, located throughout the country, require competitors to move through courses at multiple stages. It emphasizes both speed and precision. Coverage of the pro series airs on the “3-Gun Nation” television show on the Sportsman Channel and the Pursuit Channel.

Chidester and Shattuck will use RISE Armament products—including the RA-312 Competition Rifle and RA-535 Advanced-Performance Trigger—throughout the competition.

“In nearly 20 years in the industry, I have never found a company that takes more pride in the quality of their American-made products,” Chidester said. “I am honored that they consider me worthy of representing them and look forward to an amazing partnership in 2015!”

Chidester is co-director of the 3-Gun National Club Series and Regional Series and was the winner of season four of “Ammo and Attitude” reality TV series. This year, she’ll return to the show to compete in “Ammo and Attitude All-Stars.” She’s currently ranked fourth in the country for the 3-Gun Nation Club Series Ladies Division and 6th in the country for the 3-Gun Nation Regional Series Ladies Division. Chidester is a certified NRA instructor and a Utah concealed carry instructor, and she’s dedicated to making people—especially new shooters—feel comfortable on the range.

Shattuck is production supervisor of Boeing 737 aircraft overhaul and modification for American Airlines. A newcomer to competitive shooting, he finished 58th overall in the 3-Gun Nation Club Series and earned semi-pro classification in his first year. Shattuck served as a range officer for all the 2014 3-Gun Nation Pro Series matches. He enjoys attracting new shooters to the sport and showing others why 3-Gun is growing so rapidly.

“I’m excited to represent an incredibly talented company who produces the best firearms and components in the industry. I am honored to be a part of their 2015 team and look forward to showcasing RISE Armament in the shooting community,” Shattuck said.
