RISE Ambidextrous Safety Selector

Thanks to its innovative, patent-pending design, the RISE Ambidextrous Safety Selector will enhance the functionality and reliability of your AR-15, AR-10, or AR-9.

Overview

Chasing after a safety detent or spring is a thing of the past as those small parts are self-contained inside the barrel of the RISE Ambi Safety Selector.

With an incredibly nice 69-degree throw, you can quickly and easily swap from the safe to fire position.

Left- or right-handed shooters can pick the paddle they prefer to use since the long and short paddles on the RISE Ambi Safety Selector are interchangeable and easy to swap. The paddles are securely locked in with a detent instead of screws, meaning they won’t walk out on you either.

INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS

Before making any upgrades to your AR, make sure that you follow standard gun safety guidelines. Make sure your firearm is unloaded and facing in a safe direction.

  1. Remove your upper receiver.
  2. Take the bottom plate off your grip.
  3. Use an appropriately sized wrench and unscrew the bolt inside your grip.
  4. Remove your grip. *NOTE: Keep track of the detent and spring for the grip’s reinstallation.
  5. Remove the old safety from your lower.
  6. Install the RISE Ambidextrous Safety Selector until it’s flush with your lower (ensure the slot on the barrel of the safety selector is in line with the hole on your lower where safety detent is). *NOTE: If you have a RISE Drop-In Trigger it will need to be removed prior to installation. Component triggers can be left in.
  7. Use the pointed tip of the paddle to push in the detent and then slide the paddle on.
  8. Re-install the grip.
  9. Perform a function test to ensure the safety is operating properly.

  1. Have a few selectors and triggers of different types and brands, Rise is becoming my favorite trigger, as well as other accessories go to company.

  2. Great design and feel. I like the size and the clean assembly without having to deal with a screw. I installed this at the same time as a blitz trigger in under 5 minutes. Great work! In addition, foil sticker is top notch and they threw in a coozie.

  3. Love this ambi switch!

  4. I’ve had a few different Ambi safeties, but one I tried this one I have been switching out all my old ones to the rise armament one. Less parts that can disappear into into the abyss if something falls out or drops, and very easy to install as well. So simple that you really don’t need instructions honestly.

  5. Replaced the factory single safety with these on both of my rifles. Tactile difference is noticable. Smoother manipulation with new safety.
