I stumbled on to your pins completely by accident. I wasn’t looking for anything special or specific. In fact, I can’t even remember what it was about your pins that made me buy them, even though that initial purchase wasn’t that long ago. I was building an AR and just needed some pins… most people don’t really put a lot of time or effort in choosing something as benign as AR pins and that was me. That was me BEFORE I bought yours. Now, I won’t use anything but yours! I just retired after 40 years in law enforcement and I have come to learn that sometimes the littlest things can make the biggest impact. That tiny lipped ring on end of your pins is absolute genius! Occasionally, pins get dirty and stuck; a punch is the tool to free them up, doesn’t take much, just a light tap to get them started. But, when your punch slips off the pin and digs into that beautiful paint/cerekote that you spent weeks perfecting, it leaves a horrible scar on an otherwise beautiful steaming hot brass spitter! Your little stroke of Einstein like intelligence solves that catastrophe! That little lip keeps the punch firmly on the pin and completely prevents the punch from slipping off. I have now converted at least a half dozen of my AR’s to your pins. The furniture or controls for an AR are one of the few outwardly visible parts of an AR that not only discerns the owners knowledge and seriousness about the weapon but can also illuminate others about the owner’s style as well. So, now if anyone asks me about furniture for their build, my number one suggestion is your pins. They look great, go well with any style, and they clearly dictate the owner/builder not only knows what he’s doing, but s/her is serious about it as well! Thank you for manufacturing a great product; one of the littlest things, that can makes a big impact!
