Overview

The RISE RA-100 Two-Stage Trigger isn’t just another AR trigger—it’s a true workhorse that outperforms milspec with smoother operation, stronger performance, and greater precision.

Law enforcement, military, and law-abiding shooters who demand reliability without the premium price rely on the RA-100 to raise the bar for standard triggers.

Its rugged construction and forceful hammer spring deliver strong primer strikes, even with steel-cased ammo. This trigger handles tough conditions, shot after shot.

The smooth, crisp two-stage design improves control. A 1.5-lb. first stage transitions into a clean 3-lb. second stage for a predictable pull. The reset is strong, fast, and tactile—felt and heard for quicker follow-up shots.

Precision-machined from S7 tool steel and finished with black nitride, the RA-100 offers extreme durability. No compromises. Just smooth, consistent performance.

Installation is straightforward, with fewer parts than other component triggers. Forget tricky disconnector assemblies and tiny springs. Secure it with the included milspec hammer and trigger pins, and you’re ready to go.

I bought a couple of these from other vendor sites. They do the job well! I have some modified mil-clones and they are a great addition because I can use my three-position safety selectors (third position acts as an additional safety).

I did about 500 test fires on the first one in the jig. It got better the more I used it. I tried it in multiple lowers and there was one that it did not fit in — a Wilson billet lower. Wilson makes the back of the trigger guard higher than anything else I have. I have an RA-140 in it so I’m good tho. Oh, and it did fit fine in a Wilson forged lower as well as the other lowers I tried.

Pictured here with my test jig from Optics Planet and my modified m16a4 Aero clone. The trigger is pretty nice with an evolved upgraded look over mil-spec.

I’d recommend that if you have an AR you want to use for regular shots with the option of long shots (and want a value), this beaut’ll do ya!

  1. Would be nice if I could get it. FedEx is holding it because y’all got my address wrong.

  2. It’s the perfect trigger very smooth like Silk I give it a five-star rating and highly recommend it for your next build. Only thing I’d like to see is to make a flat face trigger besides the Curve on that RA-100
So rise armendment please make one of those RA-100 with a flat face trigger.2A🇺🇸

  3. I picked one of these up on a sale from a vendor. Take up is a bit mushy after the wall, but the break is clean and reset is solid. Better than milspec for sure, but its not high high end. For the price, its a nice upgrade.

  4. The RA100 is my first AR trigger I have purchased. The install was straight forward (yes the trigger pin was interesting) and once everything was back online I was very impressed with the feel and how smooth it was. I’m not a 2 stage guy but I think we will have a good time with this one. Nice clean crisp break.

  5. Just be ready to hammer in the hammer pin! The built-in retaining detent is ridiculously tight for no reason. Other than that, I highly recommend it. A little mushy take up but a crisp break and good reset. For a duty grade/milspec trigger, this is great!
